WELDER/FABRICATOR

Under the direction of the Foreman, the responsibilities of the Welder / Fabricator position include joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques in accordance with product specifications and production schedules.

Must have experience using MIG welding (Hard Wire). Duties include, Welding together steel components as specified by weld procedures, layout, blueprints, diagram, work order, or oral instructions. Work includes set up, laying out work using fixtures and guides to repair, modify, or fabricate parts and/or equipment. Welds range from simple tacks to complex welds, performed in varying positions. Must be able to Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions, and procedures.
